In our country, there is considerable experience in the construction of buildings with structures made of arbolite, indicating the economic feasibility of its use in construction, including housing. The technology of making arbolite is based on the use of waste from logging, sawmilling, woodworking, and agricultural industries, which contributes to a more rational use of natural re-sources, as well as environmental conservation through the effective disposal of these wastes, the volumes of which are practically unlimited in our country. The features of the physico-mechanical, thermal, and other characteristics of arbolite, as well as the experience of erecting enclosing structures of multi-storey residential buildings filled with elements based on other types of light concrete, allow us to conclude that the potential for the use of arbolite in multi-storey housing construction is quite large and deserves special attention.
