Switching Modulator Optimization in DAB DC-DC and DC-AC Converters
摘要
In chapter-2, the frequency-domain modeling of a generalized N-port converter composed of active bridges and individual power transfer impedances have been explained. Using the expressions for the reconstructed current/voltage waveforms and soft-switching constraints, in this chapter, we analytically explore the effects of utilizing various degrees of control freedom on DAB converter loss performance through modulating different combinations of all control variables i.e., phase shift angle, full-bridge duty ratios, and switching frequency. First part of this chapter is focused on establishing modulation strategies for dc-dc DAB converter efficiency maximization, while the latter part presents modulation schemes for loss minimization in dc-ac DAB converter that operates in a very wide voltage gain range.
