Jaboticaba has been creatively used in skin care formulations and emulsions with cosmetic potential. This chapter presents a narrative review of preclinical pharmacological studies, prioritizing potential uses in skin care. Due to the phenolic content, jaboticaba extracts can modulate oxidative stress. Associated with the potential effects on the inflammatory process and cell proliferation, these extracts appear to be promising agents in the chemoprevention of skin cancer. Moreover, some fruit peel extracts have also promoted wound healing. In this context, extracts from leaves, fruits (peels and seeds), and jaboticaba branches are promising active pharmaceutical plant ingredients for various skin diseases, both as therapeutic and chemopreventive agents.
