The topic of corporate social responsibility (CSR) remains a very relevant topic, but there is still a debate about the definition and assessment that is acceptable to all. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is defined as a dimension of the development of society, which expresses values, forms the basis for understanding the sustainability of relations between organizations and society in real life. From the point of view of historical development, CSR is most often analyzed as a suitable practice for large enterprises, however, CSR can be implemented in every organization, regardless of its sector, operational specifics or size. In the activities of enterprises operating in the tourism sector, social responsibility becomes important due to the general debate and documented global agreements. The aim of the study: to assess the level of social responsibility from the point of view of the employees of the branch of the company providing air transport services to travelers. The study aims to reveal the concept of social responsibility, to discuss the models for assessing social responsibility and their content, discuss social responsibility in the company providing air transport services and determine the level of social responsibility from the point of view of the company's employees. The problem is raised by the question of what level of social responsibility manifests itself in the branch of the company and by what means to increase the level of corporate social responsibility? The following methods are applied in the study: Analysis and systematization of the scientific literature, quantitative research—questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was compiled on the basis of an analysis of the scientific literature by applying the stakeholder theory, of the CSR pyramid of (Caroll in Int J Corp Soc Responsib 1:1–8, 2016) and the insights of other authors on the topics of corporate social responsibility. The results of the study are presented using mathematical statistical descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that for employees of the airport branch, the application of social responsibility practices is important, according to all evaluation scales, employees rate the company as socially responsible. The results of the study show that the level of liability in the market of the branch of the company providing air transport services is higher than the average. The highest value is responsibility in the market for consumer information, safety, quality of service, and the lowest value is the company's social responsibility in relations with employees and environmental responsibility. None of the areas under review shall reach a high or very high level, therefore, the company's decisions to increase the level of social responsibility should be focused on all stakeholders, paying particular attention to the formation of relations with employees and their involvement in CSR activities and the development of environmental responsibility.
