“AI-Driven Green Growth and Carbon–Neutral Solutions”—The CSR Spectrum Redefined

Purpose-In the quest for sustainability and environmental responsibility, businesses are increasingly using cutting-edge technologies to reshape their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies. This study redefines corporate sustainability initiatives for the modern era by examining the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in promoting carbon–neutral solutions and driving green growth within the context of CSR. It starts by looking at how corporate social responsibility (CSR) is developing and how important it is for businesses to address environmental issues, especially the pressing need to reduce carbon emissions and become carbon neutral. Further, it suggests how AI-driven solutions could transform corporate social responsibility initiatives; highlighting how these solutions could improve resource efficiency, boost operational effectiveness, and ease the shift to sustainable businesses. The research shows how AI technologies are changing the scope of corporate social responsibility (CSR) toward green growth and carbon neutrality through a thorough analysis of case studies and examples from various industries and geographical areas. AI-driven innovations are enabling businesses to achieve dual goals of reducing carbon emissions and promoting economic growth and social impact. These innovations range from energy-efficient operations and integration of renewable energy sources to smart transportation systems and sustainable supply chains. The study also examines the moral issues and difficulties surrounding the use of AI in CSR projects, highlighting the significance of stakeholder involvement, accountability, and openness in guaranteeing ethical AI use for environmental sustainability. Finally, it is evident from this study that businesses can improve their competitive edge and make a major contribution to the global endeavor to create a future that is more resilient, equitable, and environmentally sustainable by utilizing AI to support sustainability and mitigate climate change. Originality/Value-The paper is the first of its kind not ever published elsewhere and is original in nature.
