This study examined the environmental perception, organization, and production of artisanal fisherwomen and family female farmers. This is a case study conducted with 11 artisanal fisherwomen associated with the Z-20 Fishermen’s Colony in Santarém Pará and 07 family female farmers associated with the Union of Rural Workers of Santarém (Pará), who live in the neighborhoods Maicá and Pérola do Maicá in Santarém, Maicá Lake. This is an area in the process of struggle and resistance due to the imminence of the implementation of bulk ports. The results indicate that the living space in the neighborhood is of high importance in their lives. The participating women were organized into class entities representing their categories (fisherwomen and female farmers). In this way, the environmental perception and the relationship with the community organization influence the productive process of these women, especially in the context of resistance to agribusiness, as a way of conserving natural resources and their ways of life.
