The Amazon Rainforest has been under great pressure from the expansion of Brazilian agricultural frontiers and mining, especially in recent years. However, national and international pressure for forest preservation, climate change, the valorization of traditional and indigenous populations and consumer awareness have been pressuring the market for the sustainable use of natural resources. This work had as its objective the study of the case of Natural Arte Atelier, a company conceived by Environmental Engineer Angelo Chaves, specialized in the production of wooden pieces and furniture from the Amazon Forest.
