The amount of housing complaints from each region, which the real estate brokers do not reveal, paints the true image of the real estate mess. One such dependable resource that offers us a clear picture of the environment, the kind of complaints, and how they are handled is the 311 housing complaints record. In addition to allowing complaints about things like illegal parking and noise, 311 is a resource for New York City residents that allows tenants to complain about terrible living conditions in their homes. In this study, several non-emergency complaints are evaluated which is filed with 311 about residential properties in New York due to a considerable increase in such complaints over the years. The organization in charge of handling 311 complaints on housing and structures in New York City is the Department of Housing Preservation and Development. This paper will analyze and categorize the most common complaints from the data, as well as their priorities, to handle them appropriately. To see if any borough in specific has reported for similar type of complaint repeatedly. Analyzing the data further to predict risk score based on these complaints.
