Wrist is a complex joint which consists of radiocarpal joint, midcarpal joint, and distal radioulnar joint. The radiocarpal and midcarpal joints introduce flexion–extension and radial–ulnar deviation motion. There are several causes of flexion–extension and/or radial–ulnar deviation contracture; (1) skin problem; (2) tendon adhesion to the bone or skin; (3) soft tissue problems; (4) fibrosis; (5) miscellaneous reasons, such as heterotopic ossification. In this chapter, anatomy of the wrist, how to diagnose, and how to treat the pronation–supination contracture are described.
