Rotary drum composting technology has been used to transform waste into compost significantly. Although decomposition is a natural process during composting, it is essential to maintain the internal conditions of the technology. Rotary drum composters offer a controlled aerobic process for converting biodegradable materials into harmless, stabilised, and mature compost, that is, compost produced by naturally occurring microorganisms under thermophilic temperatures.
