We have proposed a symmetric key encryption technique in this paper and it is named as ‘Two left Shift’ (2LS). Here the plain text is treated as a finite number of binary bits. These bits are sliced into the blocks having variable length. Shifting the position of each bit of plain text block, cipher text block is generated. Binary representation of each bit position of plain text block is shifted towards left direction by two positions using the digital circuit. The key, which is session based, is generated randomly using the chopped information of plain text. The results are generated using twenty different files having different types and sizes. Proposed 2LS is compared with T-DES and AES with respect to the parameters like Encryption times, Decryption times, Avalanche values, Strict Avalanche values, Bit independence values, and Chi-square values.

摘要
