In the last chapter, physical and structural aspects of potential quantum computers were discussed. In this chapter, we discuss some algorithms that could be carried out on quantum computers and compare their performances to analogous classical algorithms. In each case, we will see that the use of superposition and entanglement leads to increased efficiency.

摘要

In the last chapter, physical and structural aspects of potential quantum computers were discussed. In this chapter, we discuss some algorithms that could be carried out on quantum computers and compare their performances to analogous classical algorithms. In each case, we will see that the use of superposition and entanglement leads to increased efficiency.
