Analysis of Cyberattacks on IOT Devices in Smart Homes

Thanks to the emergence of digital technology and the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the smart home has become an integral part of human life. At the same time, Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices are widely used in various fields. The paper offers a critical examination of the security challenges inherent in the widespread adoption of IoT devices in smart homes; through a combination of experimental setups and simulations, the research explores the practical implications of these vulnerabilities and evaluates the effectiveness of different mitigation strategies. Experimental investigations form a key part of the research, offering empirical insights into the effectiveness of these security measures.
