Development of an Arduino-Based Noise Level Monitoring System in the Aerospace Manufacturing Industry
摘要
Technological advancements have permitted the widespread usage of Arduino sensors in a variety of industrial applications and improvement projects. This study explores the potential uses of sensors in noise detection and monitoring in the aerospace manufacturing industry, where workers are frequently exposed to the noise produced by machines and handheld power tools. Two approaches were applied, which involved the construction of an Arduino-based noise level monitoring system and an experimental task. The noise exposure levels measured by the Arduino-based system ranged from 84 to 90 dB at various task times. The experimental results revealed that the noise exposure level throughout the drilling operation grew in unison with the task time. In conclusion, the Arduino-based noise level monitoring system accurately measures noise emissions, indicating its use in monitoring and managing the dangers associated with workplace noise exposure. This technology can help with workplace noise management and ambient noise monitoring.
