Here we report the synthesis method and annealing temperature depended change in the structural and optical properties of ZnS QD’s. ZnS nanoparticle have been synthesized by simple green co-precipitation method by using Phyllanthus emblica extract as capping agent. The structural properties of the prepared samples were studied using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared study (FTIR), SEM-EDAX and TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) and their optical properties using UV-Visible and photoluminescence (PL) analysis. The XRD analysis confirms the cubic and crystalline nature of the synthesized sample which is in good agreement with SAED pattern. EDAX pattern confirms the presence of Zinc and Sulfur. In the photoluminescence analysis of the samples at four distinct excitation wavelengths, visible emission peaks are observed. Antimicrobial activity of annealed and unannealed ZnS samples were determined by disc diffusion method.

摘要
