Optical Vortex Beam Generation and Interferometric Verification of Parameters
摘要
Vortex beams find new areas of application over time and reveals their potential to be candidates of quantum computing basis and quantum information carrier. It is all attributed to the quantized and infinite dimensional orbital angular momentum carried by the photons in the beam. Production and detection of such beams is of great interest in scientific and communication fields and holographic diffraction gratings that have line defect have been demonstrated to impart a change equivalent to the defect number. It is realized in a simpler manner and different orders produced are made to interfere in order to analyze the parameters. An interference pattern is obtained and is explained with theoretical prediction model.
