Competence in basic polynomial forms, identities, and techniques for performing polynomial operations is the key prerequisite for mastering all other branches of engineering and scientific mathematics. This chapter contains a short review of polynomial transformations, identities, factorizations, partial fraction decomposition, as well as some practical applications of the Factor theorem.
