2014 Earthquakes were recorded as the strongest quakes that occurred inland in Thailand. The epicenter is in Chiangrai province, northern Thailand. The primary objective of this research is to analyze the housing recovery process. 2) Characterize the organization that helps recovery assistance, including funding for reconstruction and local community ties to the government and non-governmental groups. The study and survey of 106 peoples regarding their earthquake experiences revealed that local governments arranged most public funds. On earthquakes and working in partnership with NPO, shared information about earthquake safety and materials for building houses that would be flexible for future disasters. The connections between the local community and the local government were essential aspects of Thailand’s housing recovery process. The local government is responsible for funding and the reconstruction process and community decisions, occasionally negotiable and processes that improve resident housing recovery from the 2014 earthquake. Residents did not receive reconstruction assistance because their homes were not destroyed, necessitating financial assistance from a non-governmental organization. The residents of Saikao, Chiangrai, one of the affected areas, were able to share the construction materials thanks to donations of money and organizational support from NGOs. NGOs also provided residents with information on how to construct a safer house.
