Adaptive Query Relaxation and Result Categorization of Fuzzy Spatiotemporal XML Data
摘要
As discussed in Chapter 7 , query relaxation is frequently employed to increase the volume of query results. The effective implementation of query relaxation has garnered considerable interest from both academic researchers and industry practitioners. Notable advancements have been made in the realm of query relaxation for both general and spatiotemporal data. The fundamental premise of these methodologies involves the reduction or reconfiguration of the constraints imposed on the original query to broaden its applicability. In the context of query relaxation for general data, Muslea and Lee introduce the TOQR algorithm, which utilizes a limited dataset to uncover implicit relationships among domain attributes, subsequently leveraging this domain knowledge to relax unsuccessful queries.
