CO2 sequestration in basalt involves various ways and techniques that capitalize on the reactivity of basaltic minerals to capture and securely store carbon dioxide. This chapter discusses about different approaches for CO2 sequestration in basalt, elucidating the mineralization process. It also highlights its potential as an effective carbon storage media.
