Darlington Synthesis Procedure
摘要
In 1939 Sidney Darlington proposed a procedure for the design of filters based on the explicit prescription of their losses in the form of a rational function of the variable ω. The procedure consisted of synthesizing an impedance (dipole) that is calculated from the prescribed loss function; and matching the transmission zeros, which inevitably occur when synthesizing the impedance, with the transmission zeros of the prescribed loss function.
