The complex nature of construction projects requires extensive information for effective decision-making and management. Industry 4.0 leverages digital technologies and information for efficient management, while Construction 4.0 focuses on utilizing information and digital technologies for improved processes. Artificial intelligence is recognized as a crucial tool to support decision-making and management by handling large amounts of data. A recent study in Slovakia aimed to assess the current use of artificial intelligence in the construction industry and to explore its potential applications in sustainable building information modeling within Construction 4.0. The research involved using various descriptive statistical tools to provide an overview of artificial intelligence’s potential in sustainable building information modeling.
