This chapter provides an introduction to the management of intracapsular femoral neck fractures (IFNF) using open and/or closed reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) techniques. Intracapsular femoral neck fractures represent a common orthopedic injury and pose significant challenges, primarily due to the risk of complications such as avascular necrosis and nonunion. ORIF is one of the primary surgical interventions used to treat these fractures, aiming to preserve the hip joint and restore mobility. The following chapter reviews the anatomy of the femoral neck, the classification of femoral neck fractures, as well as surgical approaches. It also covers different surgical techniques, implant selection, and strategies for both surgical and postoperative care. Through a comprehensive understanding of these factors, clinicians can optimize patient outcomes and reduce the risk of long-term complications.

摘要
