Temporizing Unstable Pelvic Ring Injuries
摘要
Pelvic ring fractures are often the result of high-energy trauma and can be life-threatening injuries associated with major hemorrhage. Adequate initial management and stabilization of patients with pelvic ring injuries require early and involved management of an orthopedic surgeon in conjunction with other providers. Methods for both hemorrhage control and mechanical stability are important to understand, as well as the relationship between the two.
