This chapter provides an overview on the vast space of European Legislations in the Digital Space. A comprehensive summary is provided including an outlook on legislations which are currently in preparation and will likely be upcoming in the future. The set of identified legislations are clustered into a total of 12 categories, including Research and Innovation, Industrial Policy, Connectivity, Data and Privacy and others. For each of those clusters, available legislations are listed and briefly summarized. Also, a link to the full legislation text is provided where available. Obviously, the only legally binding text is the one provided in the documents formally published in the European Union Official Journal. While all such legislationsare important, the subsequent chapters of this book will specifically focus on a selected subset which the authors consider to be of specific importance to stakeholders including users, industry, small and medium-sized enterprises, academia and others. Specific attention will be given on legislations addressing Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Management, Radio Equipment and others. For all stakeholders, it is critical to have a comprehensive understanding of these legislations because they govern the access to the European Union Single Market.
