The Chapter contains the qualitative analysis of local extremals in the problem of aerospace vehicle injection to low Earth orbits and their classification. There are considered various classes of launchers with different types of stages and take-off conditions. Numerous examples demonstrate qualitatively new features of behavior of extremals and sensitivity functions, including bifurcations, depending on the aerodynamic characteristics and layout parameters. It is emphasized that the qualitative changes occur for parameter values close to typical for current space launch vehicles or with small variations in their aerodynamic lift capabilities.
