Task Cycle Transition Strategy at ALBRAS Potlines
摘要
ALBRAS strategy to increase current efficiencyCurrent efficiency by changing the metal tapping cycleMetal tapping cycle from 48 to 32 h generated the need to change the cycleCycle of all tasks carried out within the potlines with minimum impact on the generation of extra activities in transition period. In addition, it was also necessary to change the anode changeAnode change pattern from hybrid anode changeAnode change to double anode changeAnode change. The strategy known so far required 4 months of anode changeAnode change pattern transition and subsequent change in theChange task cycle task cycleTask cycle (48 to 32 h). The implemented methodology made it possible the immediate transition to the 32 h cycleCycle together with the transition of the anodeAnode pattern, reducing total transition time from 4 to 2 months and saving 600 anodeAnode pieces. This paper discusses transition strategy that it was successfully implemented in 4 ALBRAS potlines.
