Investigation of the Effect of Lacquered and Delacquered Scrap on Casting Impurities for Recycling Efficiency
摘要
RecyclingRecycling is becomingRecycling and Secondary Recovery increasinglyCharacterization important around the world and limitation of primary aluminumAluminum resources makes the use of scrap more critical. However, the impuritiesImpurities of lacquered scraps in the melting processProcess Technology reduces the melting quality due to presence of coatingsCoating. Therefore, studies on the removing of coatingsCoating from scrap are of great importance. In this study, coatingsCoating were removed from coated scraps coming from automotiveAutomotive parts using delacquering furnaceFurnace and their effect on aluminumAluminum melt qualityMelt quality was examined. In this investigation, characteristics and quality of mill finish, delacquered and lacquered scraps during recyclingRecycling process and castingCasting were evaluated. As a result of the tests carried out, important results were obtained about the effects of using these devices in the recyclingRecycling process. Based on the experimental setup, a comparison was made between cast parts from different scraps, evaluating spectral analysis, optical microscopy, and SEM results to discuss the differences among samples.
