Impact of Increasing the Height of Carbon Anodes for Aluminum Production

For this reason, optimizing the dimensions of carbon anodesCarbon anode has been a matter of interest for aluminum smeltersAluminum smelter. However, these modifications generally demand substantial investments, especially in the paste plant and baking furnaceFurnace chambers. This project aimed to increase the height of the anodeAnode while achieving enhancements in both the electrolysis and carbonCarbon process. These improvements aimed to extend the anodeAnode cycleCycle, reduce gross carbon consumptionCarbon consumption, and minimize the daily exposure time of operators. Notably, these advancements were pursued with minimal investment requirements.
