The Impact of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Integration on the Employee’s Performance in the Banking Sector in Bahrain

This paper develops a conceptual framework to evaluate the level of environmental, social and governance (ESG) integration in terms of awareness, practices, and policies and study its impact on employee performance in the banking sector in Bahrain. This research holds a lot of significance for both the academic community and the banking industry in Bahrain. By explaining the relationship between ESG integration and employee performance, this study will provide significant insights for creating informed strategies that may improve both employee well-being and organizational performance. A quantitative approach is applied through surveying employees from the banking sector in Bahrain. Data will be analysed through SPSS software to obtain descriptive and inferential statistics. Research hypotheses will be tested through regression analysis. The results will be valuable for policymakers in Bahrain who are acknowledged about future regulations and standards related to ESG integration within the banking sector.
