This research assesses how sustainability has been integrated into Bahrain’s education system and how it corresponds with the country’s environmental goals. By conducting a literature review, this study gathers information from comparative and theoretical research to clarify the present condition of sustainability education in Bahrain. Bahrain has made headway in integrating sustainability into its education system, but there is a notable deficit in empirical data evaluating the effectiveness of these efforts. Bahrain’s educational changes align with global sustainability norms, but their efficacy needs additional empirical examination and a curriculum development method tailored to the local context. The paper suggests doing empirical research to measure the effects of sustainability education and proposes integrating local environmental issues into school material. This method seeks to improve the importance and effectiveness of sustainability education in order to encourage a more sustainable future for Bahrain.
