Weaving a Sustainable Future: Social Determinants, Digital Literacy and Tribal Well-Being
摘要
This paper attempts to delve deep into the critical interlinkages of the United Nations SDGs, social determinants, digital literacy, and tribal well-being with a view to offering an integrated approach to weave a sustainable future. The paper argues that digital literacy has to be seen as an enabler for bridging the gap by way of improved education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. The paper looks into the potential of digital inclusion to reduce disparities in the process and create avenues for community-led innovations grounded in the needs and cultural contexts of the locality. The paper places digital literacy in the wider social determinants and highlights the need for inclusive digital frameworks to ensure tribal communities are not left behind in the global effort toward sustainability. Equally, it calls for a synergistic effort by governments, NGOs, and the private sector in crafting inclusive, adaptive solutions for achieving the SDGs in tribal contexts.
