This study aims to investigate food traceability and its effects on supply chain performance. The goals are to establish the components of food traceability in food supply chains, assess its impact on supply chain performance, and identify the opportunities and difficulties related to its implementation. To ensure thoroughness and reduce biases in study selection, the researchers employed systematic literature reviews as part of a complete literature analysis technique. To determine how food traceability affects supply chain performance, the researchers conducted a thorough descriptive and thematic literature analysis on 48 articles released between 2000 and 2024. The results indicate that food traceability impacts supply chain performance. Improved transparency, risk mitigation, and better visibility are food traceability benefits. The study had limitations, including the need to use more databases, potentially omitting crucial articles due to narrowed databases, and the fact that the findings belong to other researchers, resulting in less expansive conclusions.

摘要
