The aim of the research is to determine the level of noise in the workplace of combine harvester operators concerning different combine constructions and engine speeds. The hypothesis is that an increase in engine speed will lead to an increase in the produced noise level. Measurements were conducted on the testing grounds of Same-Deutz Fahr company in Županja. They were performed according to prescribed standards for measuring noise levels in combine cabins at standstill – HRN ISO 6394 and HRN ISO 5131. Noise level determination was carried out using a METREL Multinorm MI 6201 EU noise measurement device equipped with a Class A microphone. Noise level was measured on four combines with five straw walkers, four combines with six straw walkers, and four Eko combines of the Same-Deutz Fahr brand, models 6060, 6090, and 6040, at different engine speeds (1100 rpm, 1600 rpm, and 2100 rpm). The obtained results of noise measurements confirm the hypothesis that an increase in engine speed leads to an increase in the noise level in the combine cabin.
