Material Analysis for Reduced-Order Model of Rubber Mount Dynamic Properties

The paper discusses the development of an automated simulation process for creating a virtual model of a rubber mount, highlighting challenges faced. Simulations were conducted on 24 materials to observe the impact of material selection on dynamic stiffness and loss angle at various load amplitudes. The study demonstrates the significant influence of material on the rubber mount's operational frequency range and maximum dynamic stiffness values. A sensitivity analysis effectively illustrates this influence. This paper also covers creation of a reduced model, accurately predicting dynamic stiffness profiles for different parameters.
