In order to enhance the accuracy of predicting the lifespan of water supply and sewage pipelines, it is suggested to employ an artificial intel-ligence-based service life model. Firstly, the elements that contribute to the failure of a specific part of the system are examined. These con-siderations may include corrosion of pipe walls and stress estimations. Using a probabilistic physical model, a predictive model is developed to estimate the likelihood of failure in cast iron water supply and sewer pipes. This enables the prediction and analysis of the pipes’ lifespan. Throughout the testing phase, the model undergoes verification using field data obtained from cast iron water and sewer pipes. The results indicate that the model analysis and anticipated failure probability exhibit similar risk indicators, thereby confirming the efficacy of the proposed model.
