The problem of constructing and adapting multilayer neural network models of nonlinear dynamic systems has been solved using the example of units within the structure of a drawbridge. A neural network approach to approximating the dynamics of the drawbridge mechanism’s units, such as the electric motor and the feed valve, has been proposed, implemented, and investigated. The method is based on neural network approximation of the technical characteristics of the respective mechanisms and on constructing multilayer neural network models using our analytical modification of numerical methods.
