This paper consists of two parts: in the first one, after a brief history of city growth modelling, we introduce a new theoretical model based on correlated percolation. In the second part we apply this model to a concrete town, the city of Montargis, for which we could dispose of all the urban history since 1900. It appears that the embedded algorithm is quite efficient in terms of computational time and allows to exploit large data type resources such as for instance individual land lots.

摘要

This paper consists of two parts: in the first one, after a brief history of city growth modelling, we introduce a new theoretical model based on correlated percolation. In the second part we apply this model to a concrete town, the city of Montargis, for which we could dispose of all the urban history since 1900. It appears that the embedded algorithm is quite efficient in terms of computational time and allows to exploit large data type resources such as for instance individual land lots.
