The accelerating integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies in higher education prompts an essential inquiry into their impact on academic outcomes. This study leverages a linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between the use of NLP technologies, specifically ChatGPT, and two key educational outcomes: academic performance and student engagement. Data collected from a sample of 30 students at Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University offers a statistical foundation to explore these dynamics. The research findings reveal a significant positive correlation between the use of NLP tools and enhanced academic performance, as well as increased levels of student engagement. These outcomes suggest that NLP technologies, when judiciously integrated into the educational process, have the potential to significantly bolster learning and engagement. The study’s implications resonate beyond the immediate university context, providing insights that may inform pedagogical strategies and the broader discourse on AI in education.

摘要
