Ensuring quality services and patient satisfaction is a priority for all hospitals. A key element is waiting times. For outpatient services, this component is even more important because the citizen already has an initial waiting component between the prescription and the performance of the visit. In this paper, we aim to study the waiting time for a first orthopedic visit for citizens of the Local Health Authority of Benevento, in southern Italy. The results show that there were longer wait times in 2022 than in 2021, however, in contrast to an increase in demand.
