The 2019 coronavirus pandemic has affected most countries and cities globally, with a huge impact on the health sector. In fact, hospitals around the world have faced a health emergency and reorganized all sectors. Several factors have been analyzed to change processes and make them more efficient. The purpose of this analysis concerns the evaluation of the COVID-19 outbreak impact on the activity of the transplant center in the University Hospital “Federico II” of Napes (Italy) by comparing the hospital procedure before and after the COVID-19 pandemia. Furthermore, we have designed and investigated logistic regression for unveiling the association between independent variables and dependent one (hospitalization year) by analyzing the dataset consisted of data of subjects undergoing skin transplantation in 2019–2020 interval of analysis. Finally, we investigate possible correlations between pre- and post-covid procedures for the skin transplantation through data-driven methodology for enhancing hospital procedure and effectiveness performances.
