This paper presents an analysis and experimental study of a photovoltaic stand-alone house system in desert area (Adrar, South West of Algeria). This system is proposed to be installed in remote area for farmer, companies…etc. It is composed from photovoltaic panels, cables, converters, battery and load. All these elements have been presented. The real UDTS50 PV panel was simulated according to Adrar weather conditions. After that, the experimental results were presented. The obtained results proved a good sizing and operation of the system which encourages to install photovoltaic systems in Saharan regions, especially in remote houses.
