Theoretical and Computational Sciences
摘要
All experiments are preceded with some level of theory, even if it is a basic question like “what happens if we do this?”. This is referred to as “science pull”. The wider context of an individual scientist is the degree of sophistication of the technology available. Advances in technology create a push to what scientists can think of doing, referred to as “technology push”. Theorycan help by defining ideal cases as benchmarks.
