The fatigue damage accidents that occurred in actual bridges can be said a real experiments, a truth-telling experiences which contain contains extremely valuable information that cannot be obtained through experimentation or analysis. International Institute of Welding (IIW) Commission XIII WG5 (lead by Chitoshi Miki) had been collecting examples of fatigue damage and its repair published in the literature and publishing them as a database. This chapter outlines this database.
