Individuals are increasingly turning to functional foods, dietary supplements, and traditional medicines that are produced from fungus due to the many health advantages and high nutritional value that these foods and other products provide. In order to handle the current problem, effective solutions are required soon. The bulk of macrofaunal capacities has not yet been established and utilized, leading to the need for prompt implementation of effective solutions. There is a wide variety of microfungi, each of which has its own distinct collection of bioactive components and growth norms. Growing macroflora for the purpose of using them, particularly as probiotics, is attracting an increasing number of people’s attention. The purpose of this chapter is to provide a concise summary of the most recent knowledge about the effects of recently discovered bioactives on the digestive system and human health, as well as methods of manufacturing and culture for these bioactive substances. When it comes to talks on the creation of macrofungal foods, further key themes include enhancing the nutritional content of food and altering the qualitative features of food.
