Curriculum Design
摘要
Critical care ultrasound curriculum is varied across training programs. There is guidance from key societies for content and objectives. Design and implementation of curriculum depends on personnel and technical resources and expertise, target learners, local scope of practice, and patterns of pathology. However, there are well-recommended common features including teaching around a universal framework for ultrasound use, as well as a structured delivery of curriculum through induction, portfolio development, formative and summative assessment, and maintaining competence. In this chapter, we present a summary of guideline and professional society recommendations and our own experience for critical care ultrasound education including practical aspects of content, delivery methods, and the human and technical elements required.
