Point of care ultrasound is a complex set of skills, spanning the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains of learning. Educators should incorporate key principles of adult learning (andragogy) to aid the successful teaching and learning (pedagogy) of this novel skill. Herein this chapter, we discuss how many of the principles of adult learning may be applied to Point of Care Ultrasound education.
