Priapism is a relatively rare pathological condition defined by the persistent erection of the penis or of the clitoris lasting for 4 hours or more. It can be either related to sexual activity, sexual stimulation, sexual desire, or not [12]. Studies report the occurrence in all ages, but mostly in a bimodal extreme of them: 5–10 years old in children and 20–50 years old in adults [6]. It affects sexual desire, fertility, quality of life, and physical wellness of all patients [4–8].
