Chronic diseases such as hypertension are a common health issue globally. So, mobile health apps can manage and encourage patients to maintain healthy lifestyles. The Sehhaty Wa Daghty, an AI-enabled mobile wireless app for self-care management in Saudi Arabia, provides personalised health advice and support. This study aims to conduct usability testing of the Sehhaty Wa Daghty app to evaluate its effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction, memorability, errors, learnability, and cognitive load among Saudi Arabian users in order to improve the overall user experience. This study conducted in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, recruited ten participants, including medical professionals and individuals undergoing hypertension therapy, to assess the usability of the Sehhaty Wa Daghty app. The Sehhaty Wa Daghty app has a good level of usability, according to participants’ findings, which is to be expected considering that usability features and attributes were taken into account during the design and development process. This article tested the Arabic health mobile app “Sehhaty Wa Daghty” for usability using the PACMAD model to evaluate its attributes. The trial, conducted in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, showed the app’s ease of use, reliability, and accuracy. Users liked it and recommended it, especially the AI technology for usability and user engagement. Additionally, the study highlights the Sehhaty Wa Daghty app’s successful consideration of Saudi cultural norms and user needs led to its positive acceptance and usefulness.
