Semantic Web resources provide essential means to support dataset search, findability and interoperability. This becomes especially important in long-running and large scale collaborative projects, as semantic annotations promote a common understanding of central terms within the project. To this end, in this paper, we introduce a new tool developed to (semi-)automatically annotate scientific datasets collected within the framework of CRC AquaDiva ( http://www.aquadiva.uni-jena.de/ ). To validate the powerful data annotation, we demonstrate the deployment of data annotation to enhance dataset search and analysis.
